Design Contest (/tools/design-contest) works like an online design contest where the designers are AI. You describe what you need (a logo, badge, business card, flyer, social media post, poster, or website banner), and 2 to 6 AI designers each submit their own concept in their own style. You compare them side by side, ask any designer for changes in your own words, and pick a winner to download. Design Contest is in early access: it is open to a small group of aiKit accounts while it is tested, and anyone else who opens the address gets a page-not-found. Everything below describes what is built today.
Open Design Contest →Start a contest asks for the Business or project name (spelled exactly as it should appear; every concept is checked against it), What do you need (the kind of piece, with its size shown underneath), and Describe it (who it is for, how it should feel, where it will be used). More details opens three optional fields: Other words to include (a tagline, phone number, or offer), Colors, and Style wishes and things to avoid. Designers competing sets how many AI designers take part, from 2 to 6.
When you have a Brand Voice, Use my Brand Voice is ticked and names the voice; the designers use it for tone and any wording choices. Untick it to leave it out of this contest.
Press Start the contest. A creative director plans one distinct direction per designer (for example a heritage badge, a geometric monogram, an editorial wordmark), and each direction goes to the designer whose style fits it best. The contest page opens right away and the concepts arrive one by one.
There are 12 AI designers, each with a name, a specialty, and a style: Vesper (badges and heritage marks), Atlas (geometric monograms), Juniper (organic and hand-crafted), Marlow (editorial wordmarks), Bram (woodcut and vintage print), Sable (premium minimalism), Wren (character and mascot marks), Ondine (linework and motion), Cielo (editorial layouts), Indigo (poster typography), Halcyon (luxury print systems), and Ember (bold promo energy). Logos and badges go to the mark designers; cards, flyers, posters, social posts, and banners go to the layout designers. They are always labeled AI designer; they are not people.
Each concept card shows the designer, the entry number (press it to get a link straight to that concept), the artwork, the concept's name, the designer's own line about the idea behind it, and its main colors. While a designer works, the card says what they are doing, for example Vesper is drawing final artwork.
Every concept is drawn as real vector artwork (SVG), so it stays sharp at any size. Two checks run on every version: Exact name (the name is spelled letter for letter) and Canvas size (the right shape for the piece). A failed check shows under Check this, never with a check mark. If a concept fails a check the first time, the designer gets one automatic try to fix it.
Pictures from an image model are a separate, optional extra. When no image key is set, every concept says Picture not made: image key not set, and nothing pretends otherwise. When a key is set, you can tick Also paint a picture of each concept when you start, or press Paint a picture on a concept later.
Under each concept, Ask the designer for a change takes any request in plain words, for example "make the name bolder and drop the tagline", "use the blue from concept 2", or "move the icon above the name". The example buttons only fill in the box; they are shortcuts, not a menu. You can mention the other concepts by number or by designer name. Press Make the change (or Ctrl/Cmd + Enter).
The new version shows what you asked, then anything Not done yet with the reason, first, then what was done. If the artwork came back unchanged, nothing is counted as done. Every version is kept: the v1, v2 buttons switch between them.
Under the latest version of each concept, How did it turn out? asks for a thumbs up or thumbs down. Thumbs down opens What went wrong?, where you pick any problems and add words. Send and fix it sends the report and asks the designer for a new version made from it; Just send it only reports. Every thumbs down reaches the aiKit team and goes into a test bank that is rechecked after updates.
Pick as winner on any concept puts it in a Winner banner at the top with Download SVG and Download PNG (twice the canvas size). Undo winner takes it back. Each concept also has its own SVG download. The contest's AI cost so far is shown at the top of the contest page.
Your contests lists every contest with how many concepts are in and whether a winner is picked; with more than three, a search box appears.
