What is the difference between a tool and a module?
A tool is an app you use in your workspace, like proofs, print-file checks, logo files, or blog and product writing. Tools are grouped into kits. A module is a feature you add to a website or app you build, like a quote form, a booking calendar, reviews, or a client portal. Some come as a pair: the booking module on your site, and the Bookings tool where you manage the appointments.
Can I change a module after I add it to a site?
Yes. Ask for the change in plain words ("make the booking form blue and add a question about pets"), or use the module's settings page for things like services, hours, prices and questions. Each site keeps its own copy, so changing one site never changes another, and every change is a version you can undo.
What is aiKit, and who is it for?
aiKit is one place to run the tools a business uses every day, by saying what you need in plain words. You can build and host a website from a conversation, add pages that actually work (quote requests, a quote builder, booking, contact, lead sign-ups, and file uploads), collect client feedback right on the live page, and keep each client's sites, questions, and approvals together. Do I need to know how to code or design?
No. You describe what you want, and you ask for changes the same way, typed or spoken: “move the hours above the map” or “make the top photo brighter.” aiKit plans the work, makes the change, and saves every change as a version, so if you don't like a result you restore the one before it with one click. There's no code editor, no page builder to learn, and nothing to install. If you do have a developer or build in another AI tool, they can keep working that way, and aiKit hosts the result.
Is aiKit only for print shops?
No. Print tools are one part of aiKit, not the center of it. Most people use aiKit for their website and the tools around it: taking quote requests and bookings, sorting contact messages, collecting leads, and getting client feedback without a pile of emails. A plumbing company, a real estate agent, a salon, and a marketing agency all use the same core tools. Print and promo shops get two extra tools on top: Prepress Studio, which gets customer files ready to print, and customer proofs that clients approve from their phone.

Do my clients or customers need an aiKit account?
No. Your clients answer kickoff questions, leave pins on the exact spot they want changed, read the Site Plan, and approve proofs from a private link, with no login and nothing to download. Your customers use the pages on your website (quote requests, bookings, sign-ups, file uploads) like any other website. Only you and the teammates you invite sign in to aiKit, and you choose what each teammate can do: build and edit, or only view, comment, and approve.
Can I manage websites for several clients?
Yes, that's what Clients is for. Each client gets a page with all of their sites, what needs your attention, and who has access. You can give a teammate one client's sites at once, including sites you add later, and make one change across several sites with a single instruction: aiKit works through them one at a time and tells you which are done and which need a follow-up. You can also copy an existing site, yours or one at a web address, and let aiKit suggest improvements you choose from before anything goes live.
Can I bring a site I built somewhere else?
Yes. Connect gives a site built in another AI tool a real address on aiKit. You can keep publishing from the tool you built it in, connected with a key you create on the Connect page, or upload a zip export. Once it's on aiKit, the same project tools work on it: versions, pins, the live-site editor, and the site tools. Sites that need their own server and database, like apps with private logins, need their own hosting, and the Connect page tells you that before you start.
Is it free to start?
Yes. Creating an account is free and needs no credit card. Every website starts with a free 90-day preview on real hosting at a real https address, so you can share it, test it, and collect real requests before deciding anything. Free sites carry a small “Built with aiKit” badge, and an unbranded option is coming soon. Tools like Prepress Studio include free monthly jobs, and you can ask for more from inside the tool.
Will the AI make things up about my business?
aiKit works from what you tell it and from the facts you save about each client, like hours, services, and service areas. It's built to flag what it would otherwise have to guess, such as exact prices, license numbers, or reviews, and to leave a clearly marked placeholder instead of inventing them.
