Scene Studio makes short AI video clips (4 to 15 seconds each). Describe a video, bring a photo to life, or give your own clip a new look. Pick Business for ads and promos or Fun & creative for funny clips, stories and dream worlds. Add looks by clicking pictures, keep your own characters the same from scene to scene, and plan a whole video as a storyboard you approve before any video is made. Every clip shows its cost before you press Make, saves to your Graphics Library, and can go on to Video Kit or Motion Maker. Open it from the Tool library or at aikit.ai/tools/scene-studio.
Open Scene Studio →The switch at the top right picks what the video is for. Business opens the looks on Business ads (ready scenes per industry: food, real estate, products, local services, beauty and fitness, events and hospitality, tech) and its examples are ads and promos. Fun & creative opens on Fun formats (funny clips, stories, social trends, dream worlds). Both share every engine, look and character; the switch only changes what you see first, and it's remembered for next time. Beside it, the credits pill shows the AI credits left today on your plan.
Describe it: write the video in the box (or press the microphone and say it). Say who or what is in it, where, what happens, and how it should feel. With nothing written, a picked Fun format or Business ad uses its own example subject.
Animate a photo: pick a picture From your Library or Upload one (JPG, PNG or WebP). The picture is the first frame and the clip moves from it. The words are optional: say how it should move ("she turns and smiles, slow push in").
Restyle my video: pick or upload a video up to 10 seconds (MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 60 MB) and say how it should change ("make it a snowy night", "anime style") or pick a Style. The new clip is the same length as yours. Uploads are saved to your Graphics Library in Scene Studio/Uploads.
The looks box has a tab per kind: Fun formats, Business ads, Style (16, from real footage to claymation and anime), Camera moves (14: push in, orbit, drone fly-over, FPV dive, crash zoom, dolly zoom and more; each tile shows its move when you point at it), Effects & speed (slow motion, time-lapse, perfect loop, melt, turn to particles and more), Lighting, Color mood and Sound. Tiles with a small play button show a real 4-second sample clip when you point at them or move to them with the keyboard. Click a tile to add its words to your video; click it again, or the × on its chip under the box, to take it off. One pick per tab, and tabs combine. A dot on a tab means something in it is picked. The full request (your words plus the picks) is kept with every clip.
Characters (in the words box) are people, mascots or pets you add once and reuse. New character: give a name, a few words on what never changes (hair, outfit, colors), and 1 to 4 pictures From Library or Upload, the first being a clear front view. Click a character to put it in the video (up to 3 at once); the pencil edits it, and Remove (it asks first) deletes it. Characters are private to your account. Use only pictures you own or have permission to use; real people need their OK.
How they're used: storyboard stills are drawn with the characters' pictures as references, and the Same character engine takes their pictures directly so faces and outfits match from scene to scene. With the Google engines, up to 3 of their pictures guide the clip. Auto picks Same character whenever characters are in the video and it's switched on.
Engine: Auto picks for you and says why under the menu. If Google's engines are at their daily limit, Auto makes the clip with Longer & square (Kling 3.0 Pro) instead and says so on the clip; the cost shown is the cost of the engine that made it. Quick draft (Google Veo 3.1 Lite) is the cheapest, with sound. Everyday (Veo 3.1 Fast) is the best value for most videos. Best quality (Veo 3.1) is the finest picture and sound, 8 seconds. Longer & square (Kling 3.0 Pro) makes up to 15 seconds and square videos, with sound on or off. Same character (Kling O3 Pro) keeps characters the same. Restyle my video (Google Gemini Omni Flash) changes your own clip. An engine whose service isn't connected shows (not switched on); on the Free plan, Quick draft and Everyday work and the others show (paid plans).
Length: the lengths the engine makes (4, 6 or 8 seconds on the Google engines; 5, 8, 10 or 15 on the others). Shape: Tall 9:16 for reels and stories, Wide 16:9 for YouTube and websites, Square 1:1 for feeds (square needs Longer & square or Same character; Auto switches). Sound: the Google engines always make sound (effects, music and speech written in quotes); on the others you can turn it off, which costs less. A Sound pick in the looks decides it.
Cost: the Make button shows the credits before you press it. It depends on the engine, the length and sound. If a clip fails or takes more than 20 minutes, its credits are given back automatically and the card says Nothing was charged. Up to 3 clips can be made at once per account.
One clip now makes a single clip from what you set. Script & storyboard writes and plans a whole video (any number of scenes, even one) that you approve before any video is made.
The script writer: pick a script type (ad or commercial, explainer, product demo, testimonial, social reel or TikTok hook, funny skit, story or short film, music video, tutorial, announcement, real-estate tour, event promo, greeting). Each type offers ready Hooks, Tones and Endings (calls to action) to click, and angles that work. Set Whole video (about 10 to 120 seconds), Scenes (or let the writer decide) and an Ending. Write or say your idea in the box, then press Write the script (under 1 credit). Or start an empty storyboard and fill it in yourself.
Build from (optional): A script or brief attaches a PDF, Word, text, Markdown or HTML file; its facts and wording are used. Look pictures and Upload sketches add up to 6 pictures (sketches, mood boards, styles) that every still follows. Make it feel like… takes a YouTube, TikTok or web link, and Feel like my clip takes a clip of yours: an AI reads only the link's public title and preview picture, or four frames of your clip, and writes style words (colors, light, camera, pace). Nothing from a reference is copied into your video.
The storyboard: every scene is a card with its number, title, What happens, First frame (the still's description), Camera, Length (3 to 15 seconds), Transition in (from scene 2), and Lines and words: Someone says (spoken in the clip, lips moving), Voiceover (read in Voice Kit) and On screen (words added in Video Kit, never drawn into the picture). Move a scene earlier or later with the arrows, remove it with the trash can (it asks first), and add one with the + on a card's edge or Add a scene. Everything saves by itself.
Stills: Draw this scene makes the first frame (1 credit), with your characters and look pictures; Draw N stills draws every scene that has none. Or use your own picture from the Library or an upload (it's approved for you). To change a still, type the change and press Redraw, or Swap picture. Tick Approve on the scenes you like, then Animate one, or Make all at the bottom; the credits show on the button first. Nothing is animated until you press it.
Change the script takes any change in words for the whole thing ("make scene 2 funnier", "add a close-up of the bread", "cut it to 15 seconds") and keeps everything you didn't mention; a scene whose picture words changed needs a new still. Other openings swaps in a different first scene. Anything you asked for that the writer couldn't do is listed first under Not done yet. The Script view shows the whole script to read, with Copy the script.
Voiceover in Voice Kit opens Voice Kit in a new tab with every voiceover line as a script, ready to read in your voice or a stock voice. Join in Video Kit opens Video Kit with the finished clips in scene order, each cut to its length, with its transition. The Music line is the music the script calls for; add it in Video Kit's music.
While a clip is made, its card says what is happening and how long it has taken (usually 1 to 3 minutes). You can keep working, start more, or leave the page: it keeps going and shows in History. When it's ready it plays on the card and saves itself to your Graphics Library (folder Scene Studio); In your Library shows when that's done. If you left the page while it was made, or the save didn't go through, open it from History and press Save to Library.
Under every clip: Download (MP4), Send to Video Kit (trim, words, music, joining clips) or Motion Maker (titles and animated graphics), Another take (the same settings again), Continue the shot (a new clip that starts exactly where this one ends, from its last frame, for a longer video), Open (the clip big, with the full request, and its own link you can bookmark), Change it (type a change and press Make the change for a new take with it), and the thumbs to rate it. A clip that wasn't made says why, that nothing was charged, and offers Try again.
History lists every clip, newest first, with Search your words and filters (All, From words, From photos, Storyboards, Restyled). Click one to open it.
