Toolkits: open them in the sidebar, drag tools between them, and send work from tool to tool
A toolkit is a named group of the tools you use together. Each toolkit opens right in the sidebar, so any tool is one click away. You can drag a tool from one toolkit to another, copy it, put a toolkit in the order you like, and right-click any tool or toolkit for more. Every change can be undone from the message that follows it.
Under My toolkits in the sidebar, each toolkit shows its color bars and name. On the right, a number says how many tools it holds; press the number (or its arrow) to open the toolkit in place and list its tools, and press it again to fold it. Each tool in the list opens with one click. aiKit remembers which toolkits you left open on that device, and the toolkit holding the tool you are using opens by itself.
Pointing at a toolkit or a tool shows a ⋯ button that opens its menu. On a phone or tablet the ⋯ button is always there.

Moving and copying tools by dragging
Drag a tool onto another toolkit to move it there. The toolkit lights up under the pointer, and a note at the bottom of the screen says what will happen.
Hold Option (Alt on Windows) while you let go to copy the tool instead. It stays where it was and also lands in the new toolkit. The note at the bottom switches to Copying.
Drop a tool between two tools to put it exactly there; a blue line shows the spot. Inside the same toolkit this changes the order.
Hold a dragged tool over a folded toolkit for a moment and it opens, so you can drop it between that toolkit's tools.
This works in the sidebar and on My toolkits, where each toolkit is a card listing its tools by name: drag a tool from one card to another, or along its row to reorder.
If the toolkit already has that tool, a copy is skipped with a note, and a move simply takes it out of the toolkit it came from.
A toolkit holds up to 40 tools.

Without a mouse: keyboard, touch, and screen readers
Every drag has a menu alternative: Move to toolkit, Copy to toolkit, Move up, and Move down.
On a focused tool, Shift+F10 or the Menu key opens its menu. In the menu, the arrow keys move, Enter picks, the Right arrow opens a submenu, and the Left arrow or Escape goes back. Typing a letter jumps to the next item that starts with it. Escape closes the menu and returns you to the tool.
Option (Alt) with the Up or Down arrow moves the focused tool one place in its toolkit. On My toolkits, Left and Right work too.
On a touch screen, press and hold a tool for half a second to open its menu.
Each change is announced in the message at the bottom of the screen.

The tool menu
Right-click a tool (or press its ⋯, or press and hold it on a touch screen) for these choices. The ones about a toolkit appear only where the tool sits in one.
Open, and Open in a new tab.
Move up and Move down: change its place in this toolkit.
Move to toolkit: pick another toolkit; the tool leaves this one. Toolkits that already have it are shown as Already there.
Copy to toolkit: the tool stays here and is added to the one you pick.
New toolkit with this tool: name a new toolkit and the tool goes in it. It also stays where it is.
Pin to the dock, or Take off the dock.
Send my latest work to: for Graphics Library, Logo Kit, and Mockup Studio, sends your newest picture, logo, or mockup from the Graphics Library to Motion Maker (to make a video or GIF from it) or to Content Kit (to use it as a blog post's main photo). If that tool has nothing in your library yet, a note says so.
About this tool: its page in Explore Kits.
Copy link: the tool's address, to paste anywhere.
Remove from this toolkit: takes it out of this toolkit only. The tool and everything made with it stay.
5
The toolkit menu
Open: the toolkit's own page.
Rename: type the new name (up to 40 characters) and press Save.
Change color: pick one of nine colors; a check marks the current one.
Add a tool: the list of ready tools; the one you pick goes at the end.
Copy link: the toolkit's address.
Delete toolkit: asks first. Only the grouping goes; the tools and their work stay in aiKit.
6
Undo
After a move, copy, reorder, removal, rename, new toolkit, or deleted toolkit, a message at the bottom of the screen says what changed, with an Undo button. It stays for about seven seconds. ⌘Z (Ctrl+Z on Windows) does the same while the message is showing, as long as you aren't typing in a box. Undoing a deleted toolkit brings it back with the same name, color, and tools, at the end of your list.

Sending work from one tool to another
Some tools can hand their work to another tool, so you don't download a file and upload it again. Today:
Graphics Library → Motion Maker: pick Send to Motion Maker in a photo or video's ⋯ menu, or select up to 40 photos and clips and choose Send to → Send to Motion Maker in the bar at the bottom. Motion Maker opens with them on the timeline in the order you selected them, ready for a template, words, and music.
Graphics Library → Content Kit: pick Use in a blog post on a single picture. Content Kit opens with the picture waiting at the top of your posts. Open a post (or start a new one) and press Use as the main photo; it becomes the post's main photo and the post shows in the picture's Where it's used. Not now puts it away.
From a toolkit: Send my latest work to, in the tool menu (see above).
Send to only lists tools you can open and that take that kind of file: Motion Maker takes photos and videos, Content Kit takes one photo. Documents such as PDFs aren't offered.
