Vectorize Kit

Logo vectorizer: turn any logo into a clean vector

Drop in a blurry JPG, a small PNG, a PDF or a phone photo of a sign. Vectorize Kit traces your own file into a clean vector, shows how closely it matches with a score and a zoomable before and after, and hands you SVG, EPS, PDF and PNG in one click.

Vectorize Kit: Vectorize your logo, a large drop area with Choose files, and SVG, EPS, PDF and see-through PNG

What you get

Logo vectorizer.

Accurate, and it shows you how accurate

The match score compares the vector with the picture you uploaded, not with a cleaned-up copy. A Before and after slider with 2x and 4x zoom and Show differences marks any spot that is off.

Blurry and tiny logos come back clean

Soft edges are smoothed into even curves and JPEG color noise is folded back into the logo's real inks, so a blurry two-color logo stays two colors.

Real vector files stay untouched

Send an SVG, PDF, AI or EPS with real paths and those paths are kept exactly. Nothing is traced twice.

SVG, EPS, PDF and PNG in one click

Download the vector in the format the job needs right under the result, or every version in every format in one ZIP.

Fix any area in plain words

"The small text at the bottom left is missing." Type it and a new version is made. Every change can be undone, and anything not done is said first.

A photo is called a photo

Upload a picture that isn't a logo and the page says so up front, with a low score, instead of handing you scattered marks as if they were your logo.

What’s included

What you get with Vectorize Kit, and how it works with the rest of aiKit

Included with a free aiKit account

  • Runs on your account's tokens; a logo uses them only once its clean-up finishes
  • A clean vector built from your own file, with a match score and a Before and after slider
  • Every version (full color, black, white, one color, grayscale, reversed, small size) as SVG, PDF and PNG in one ZIP
  • Brand colors in HEX, RGB and CMYK, with the closest spot color match
  • A ready-or-not check for seven print methods, with Fix it
  • A one-page brand sheet PDF, and brand kits the other aiKit design tools use
  • Fix it, Undo and Restore on a finished logo use no tokens

What uses AI, and what’s free

Each logo clean-up uses a small, set amount of your account's tokens once it finishes. Fix it on a print-method card, Undo, Restore, downloads, the brand sheet, Save to brand kit and Save to Graphics are free. A change typed in plain words, such as "make it one color navy," is a small AI read that uses a little of your tokens.

Works with your other aiKit tools

Keep Vectorize Kit in any of your kits, next to the tools you use with it. One account and one monthly AI allowance cover every tool.

Who it’s for

How different businesses use Vectorize Kit

Print, promo & signs

From a customer's blurry JPG to an embroidery-ready file

Harbor Line Print Co. drops in a 200-pixel logo a customer emailed. The vector comes back with a match score, the embroidery card says Needs a fix, and Fix it thickens the lines and leaves off the small text.

Marketing & agencies

Onboard a new client's brand in one sitting

Northlight Studio runs a new client's five logo files at once, saves each to a brand kit with its HEX and CMYK values, and sends the one-page brand sheet to the client.

Trades & service businesses

A logo off the side of a truck

Brightway Landscaping has no original file, only its truck. A phone photo of the door decal becomes a vector logo with a white version for dark shirts.

Events, lighting & AV

One-color art for engraving and projection

An event production company needs a sponsor's logo in one flat color for laser engraving. A one-sentence request makes it, and the laser card says it's ready.

Retail, restaurants & e-commerce

Menu, cups and signs from one clean logo

Copper Kettle Coffee gets its logo in full color for the menu, one color for cups and reversed for the sign, all from a single PDF.

Ideal for

  • Print and promo shops getting blurry logos every day
  • Sign and vinyl shops that need clean cut paths
  • Agencies onboarding a new client's brand
  • Any business that needs its logo in every format

Good to know

  • Not for: Designing a new logo from scratch; it traces what you send, it never invents one
  • Not for: Turning a photograph into art; it says so when a picture is a photo, not a logo
  • Spot color matches are approximate. Check a printed swatch.
  • Very small or very blurry lettering can come back thicker or merged; the match score and Show differences show where.
  • A color blend in a picture is traced as a few flat bands of color.

Questions

Vectorize Kit: questions people ask

What is the most accurate way to vectorize a logo?
Start from the sharpest copy you have and use a vectorizer that shows you its accuracy. aiKit's Vectorize Kit traces your own file, then scores the vector against the picture you uploaded, not against a cleaned-up copy, and gives you a Before and after slider with 2x and 4x zoom and Show differences. Blurry JPGs get smoothed outlines and their real ink colors, and real vector files (SVG, PDF, AI, EPS) keep their own paths. If a spot is off, type what is wrong, such as "the small text at the bottom is missing," and a new version is made that you can undo.
Can I convert a logo to EPS or PDF for a print shop?
Yes. Every logo in aiKit's Vectorize Kit downloads as EPS, vector PDF, SVG and a see-through PNG, one click each, right under the result. EPS and PDF are what sign shops, screen printers and embroiderers usually ask for, and both stay sharp at any size. Download all (ZIP) adds every version (black, white, one color and more) in every format, plus a one-page brand sheet.
What does the match score mean?
It is the share of your logo's shapes and colors that line up with the vector, measured against the picture you uploaded. In aiKit's Vectorize Kit, 90% or more shows in green; below that, Show differences marks where the vector and your picture disagree, and you can fix that area in plain words. For a real vector file whose paths were kept, the page says so. For a photo that is not a logo, the score stays low on purpose, so it never looks like a good trace.
What happens if I upload a photo instead of a logo?
aiKit's Vectorize Kit checks the picture first. A photo of a logo on a sign, card or shirt is straightened and cropped, and the logo is traced. A photo that is not a logo, like a street or a landscape, is called out at the top in plain words with a low score, because a vectorizer turns flat colors into shapes and a photo would come back as scattered marks. Upload the logo file itself, or a straight-on photo of the logo, for a clean result.
How do I turn a blurry logo into a vector file?
Drop it into aiKit's Vectorize Kit. It takes PNG, JPG, HEIC, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, PSD, SVG, PDF, AI and EPS files up to 60 MB, and in about a minute it returns a clean vector built from your own file, never redrawn or replaced. A match score says how closely the vector matches the original, and a Before and after slider with Show differences marks any spot that differs. You download it as SVG, PDF and PNG. A very blurry or tiny image is the most common reason a logo stops, so use the sharpest copy you have.
Is there a free way to convert a logo to vector online?
Yes. A free aiKit account comes with a monthly amount of tokens, and a logo uses them only once its clean-up finishes; one that stops partway uses none. Each one converts your logo to vector from whatever you have, a JPG, a PNG, a PDF or a phone photo, and gives you SVG, PDF and PNG files, every version, the brand colors and a print check. Fix it, Undo and Restore on a finished logo are free. Vectorize Kit runs in the browser, so this free logo vectorizer needs nothing installed, and your logos stay listed under Your logos to reopen later.
Can AI make my logo print-ready for embroidery or screen printing?
Yes. aiKit's Vectorize Kit checks every logo for screen printing, embroidery, laser engraving, pad printing, cut vinyl, DTF transfers and screens. Each method gets a traffic light (Ready, Check first or Needs a fix), the reasons in plain words, and the smallest width that stays readable. Where the problem can be solved, Fix it makes a new version for you, such as thicker lines and no small text for embroidery, or a one-color version for screen printing. Every fix can be undone, and fixes are free.
How do I find the exact HEX, RGB and CMYK colors in my logo?
Run the logo through aiKit's Vectorize Kit. Each brand color it finds shows its HEX, RGB and CMYK values, and pressing any value copies it. Under them is the closest spot color match, which is approximate, so check a printed swatch before matching ink. Vectorize Kit also shows how readable each color is on white and on black, with the contrast ratio. Copy all copies every color as text, and the one-page brand sheet PDF lists them all with the logo on light and dark backgrounds.
Can I get white and one-color versions of my logo for dark shirts?
Yes. aiKit's Vectorize Kit makes them automatically: full color, black, white for dark backgrounds, one color in each brand color, grayscale, reversed on a brand color, and a small-size version, plus any extra layouts the logo allows. Each version downloads as SVG, PDF and PNG, and all of them come in one ZIP. You can preview each one on a light or dark backdrop, or on a simple shirt, mug or sign drawing. For something specific, type it, like "make the white version for black shirts."
Does Vectorize Kit change or redesign my logo?
No. aiKit's Vectorize Kit always makes version 1 from your own file. It cleans up and traces what you send; it never invents a new logo or swaps in a different one. If part of the art is missed on the first pass, it is rebuilt from your file's own pixels and noted under What the clean-up noticed. Changes happen only when you ask for them, in plain words or with Fix it, and each one becomes a new version with Undo and a full version history, so the original result is always one click away.
Can I use my cleaned-up logo in other aiKit tools?
Yes. In aiKit's Vectorize Kit, Save to brand kit keeps the logo's current version, colors and versions on your Brand kits page. Magic Canvas and Pro Designer then show those colors and logos in their Brand panels, one click to use. Mockup Studio can pick the logo straight from Vectorize Kit to place it on products, Printer’s Helper adds it to a print job with From Vectorize Kit, and a new Customer Proof can pick a Vectorize Kit version. Save to Graphics files the versions you tick into your Graphics Library as SVG files under Logos, ready for anyone on your team to find.
What comes in the Vectorize Kit download?
Download all (ZIP) in aiKit's Vectorize Kit holds every version of the logo in every format: SVG for any size, PDF for printers, and PNG with a see-through background. The Brand sheet is a one-page PDF with the logo on light and dark, every version, the color values, the clear-space rule, and the smallest size for each print method. Each version can also be downloaded on its own, and each has its own link that opens straight to it.
How close is Vectorize Kit's vector to my original logo?
You see exactly how close. aiKit's Vectorize Kit traces your own file in about a minute, checks it part by part, and shows a match score and a Before and after slider to compare it with your original. It also makes every version, the HEX, RGB and CMYK colors, and a print check for seven methods in the same pass. If you want a brand-new logo or a redesign, that is a designer's job: Vectorize Kit never invents a logo, it only cleans up the one you send.
Can I convert a JPG or PNG logo to SVG?
Yes. Drop the JPG or PNG into aiKit's Vectorize Kit and it returns a true vector, traced from your file, that downloads as SVG, PDF and PNG. It works as a JPG to vector converter: the shapes and letters become real vector paths that stay sharp at any size, for a sign, a vinyl cut or a shirt. The match score and Show differences point out any spot where the vector and your original differ. The sharper the source, the closer the result, so the original export from whoever made the logo works best.
How do I get my logo ready for shirts, mugs and signs?
Start in aiKit's Vectorize Kit: drop in the logo, check the clean vector, and open Ready to print? to see whether it suits screen printing, embroidery, laser engraving, pad printing, cut vinyl or DTF transfers. Fix it makes the version a method needs, and the white version handles dark shirts. Preview each version on a simple shirt, mug or sign drawing, then Save to brand kit. In Mockup Studio, pick that logo from Vectorize Kit to see it on real-looking products in every color, with a spec sheet, and send the mockup to your customer as a proof for approval.
