Events, lighting & AV

The AI kit for event, lighting and AV companies.

Turn a client's logo into a gobo proof sized for the real room, make motion graphics for screens, and show clients the result before the event.

aiKit · Motion MakerExample

Sound familiar?

The day, before aiKit.

“The client's logo has thin lines that won't survive a gobo.”

“How big will it be on the wall from 20 feet away?”

“We need a looping graphic for the screens by Friday.”

“Clients approve by phone, then remember it differently.”

The kit

8 tools for events, lighting & av.

Start with these, then add any other tool to your kit. Every tool takes any instruction in plain words.

Gobo Proof Studio

Early access

Gobo Proof Studio handles custom gobo design from a customer's logo: it checks the file, makes the gobo the way you ask, sizes it for the real room, and sends your customer a proof to approve from their phone. It is in early access, not yet open to every account while it is tested.

Motion Maker

New

An animated GIF maker for email, plus banners and promo clips: pick one of 26 animation styles, drop in your photos, type the words right on the stage, and add music cut on the beat. Export an MP4, WebM or email-ready GIF straight from your browser.

Mockup Studio

Mockup Studio is a logo mockup generator for shirts, mugs, signs, packaging and print, or any product photo you bring. It checks the decoration rules a shop checks and hands you a spec sheet for the quote.

See it in your space

A true-size product visualizer: customers place your sign, decal, mural, wall art, light or furniture on a photo of their own space, sized to the inch, then send you a quote request with the picture attached.

Video Kit

New

Video Kit is an AI video editor for social media: drop in your clips and edit them like a document. Delete words to cut the video, remove pauses and ums in one pass, and ask for any change in plain words. Captions, sizes, music and your logo are built in.

Logo Kit

Convert a logo to vector from a blurry PNG, a PDF or a photo of a sign. Logo Kit gives you a clean vector built from your own file, every version you need, exact brand colors, and a ready-or-not answer for each print method.

Customer Proofs

No account needed for customers

Customer Proofs is online proofing software for any design, web page, video, or sound file. Send it to one or more people; each gets a private link to pin comments on the exact spot and approve with a checklist and their typed name. No account on their side.

Pro Designer

New

Pro Designer gives you layers, masks, selections, retouching brushes and PSD files with nothing to install. Ask for any change in plain words, and the free on-device tools do most of the work.

In practice

What events, lighting & av businesses do with aiKit

Your websites

An event rental company's landing page

A fictional AV rental company builds a one-offer landing page for a summer package, with a quote request form, and later restores the spring version in one click.

Mockup Studio

Sponsor items for an event

A festival organizer puts each sponsor's logo on lanyards, a retractable banner stand and drawstring bags, and sends the set to sponsors for sign-off.

Prepress Studio

Numbered raffle tickets for a fundraiser

An event team sets up raffle tickets with a stub and a perforation line. The press adds the numbers, and the FPO file shows exactly where they print.

Print file check on upload

Banner files before the event deadline

An event signage company sees right away that a banner file has fonts that aren't embedded, and asks the customer for a new file the same day, not the day before the show.

Quote Studio

Event rentals from the client's email

A rental company pastes a planner's email listing lights, a dance floor, and a delivery window. The quote lists each item from the price list with the location and details under each line.

Writing Pack

A sales email sequence for an event

A lighting rental company writes a 5-email sequence for wedding planners, with an honest offer, alternate headlines and openings, and P.S. lines to swap in.

Lesson Kit

Crew training before the season

An AV crew lead builds lessons on rigging basics and load-in order from the company's own run sheet, with discussion prompts and an exit ticket for each morning session.

Logo Kit

One-color art for engraving and projection

An event production company needs a sponsor's logo in one flat color for laser engraving. A one-sentence request makes it, and the laser card says it's ready.

See it in your space

Lighting that shows its glow

A lighting company adds its fixtures with the Lit effect, so a venue manager sees each one glowing on a photo of the actual room in Night view.

Motion Maker

Save the date for an event

A venue uses the Invitation card style with a photo in an arch, the date and the RSVP line, then makes a wide clip for the lobby screen from the same file.

Pro Designer Automate

Sponsor logos for every screen

An event company resizes a batch of sponsor logos to the exact sizes the screens and printed programs need.

aiKit Hub

One client, one vendor, one project

An invented event production company adds a client and a rental vendor to the same project. Each company sees only what's shared with it, never the other's posts.

Free AI business report

An event company checks its market

A fictional event lighting company runs the Market and competitors report to see where it could stand out, based on general industry knowledge and its own site.

Design Contest

A banner for the booth

An event company needs a 3 × 8 ft banner. Four designers each deliver a concept in that exact shape, and the winner is turned into a print-ready SVG.

Gobo Proof Studio

A wedding monogram on the dance floor

A lighting company gets a couple's monogram as a phone photo. The check grades it Low, the artist redraws it as clean shapes, and the proof shows it at 6 ft across from a 20 ft mount.

Questions

Questions events, lighting & av businesses ask

How do I make a custom gobo proof from a client's logo?
aiKit's Gobo Proof Studio checks the client's logo file first, then makes a gobo-ready version following your instructions, a proof the client approves from their phone, and a print-ready file for the gobo maker. It also sizes the art for the real room from the mounting distance, the size you want and the lens. Gobo Proof Studio is in early access.
How big will a logo projection be on the wall?
It depends on the distance from the projector to the surface and the lens. aiKit's gobo sizing calculator takes the mounting distance, the size you want on the wall or floor, and the lens, and shows how to size the art. It also warns when the thinnest line in the art is too thin to project well. The calculator is part of Gobo Proof Studio, which is in early access.
Can AI make motion graphics for event screens?
Yes. aiKit's Motion Maker turns photos and a short description into animated graphics with 26 styles, such as Kinetic words and Confetti pop, plus your brand colors and music cut on the beat. Type the words right on the stage, change anything by hand or by asking in plain words, and export an MP4 or WebM clip from your browser. For filmed footage, Video Kit adds captions, an intro and outro card and your logo, and can set a custom size up to 4096 pixels.
Can clients see the design in their own space before the event?
Yes. aiKit's See it in your space places a design or product on a photo of the client's real room or venue at true size: mark one known length, such as a door, and the size is printed on the picture. Night view darkens the photo like evening so a lit product glows, and up to three looks can be compared side by side. Mockup Studio does the same on products such as banners, retractable stands and signs.
How do I get event clients to approve designs in writing?
Send the design as a proof link with aiKit's Customer Proofs. The client opens it on their phone with no account, pins comments on the exact spot, ticks a short checklist covering spelling, colors, size and dates, and approves by typing their name. The name and the time are saved with that version, and the Approval record prints every version, person and answer, so nobody remembers the approval differently on the day of the event.
Can I show a client their logo projected in their venue?
Yes. In aiKit's Gobo Proof Studio, which is in early access, every version has an As it projects view: a projector above shines the logo onto a floor in a dark room, in the proof's own colors. Enter the mounting distance, the size you want and the lens, and it's drawn at that real size with the size marked. To show a design on a photo of the actual venue, aiKit's See it in your space places it at true size and has a Night view.
What if a client's logo is too low resolution for a gobo?
aiKit's Gobo Proof Studio, in early access, checks resolution before any work. Each file is graded against the gobo size as High, Good, Marginal, Low but usable, Low or Vector. If a file would be enlarged more than 2 times, nothing is made until you choose: go ahead anyway, which is often fine for a bold, simple design, redraw it as clean shapes, ask the client for a better file, or upload one now. The client's original file stays on the job either way.
Can I make gobos that say Happy Hour or a wedding monogram?
Yes. In aiKit's Gobo Proof Studio, which is in early access, ask for message gobos in words, such as gobos that say Happy Hour and Taco Tuesday, and each phrase becomes its own design laid out on 1 to 3 lines in a color that goes with the logo. A couple's monogram, even from a phone photo, can be redrawn as clean shapes. Each design gets its own versions and print-ready CMYK PDF, and one private link lets the client approve each design on its own.
What gobo sizes can I make proofs for?
aiKit's Gobo Proof Studio, in early access, makes gobos at 37.5 mm by default, plus 53 mm, 54 mm, 86 mm or any size you enter. The art fills 92% of the disc, or 98% when the art is itself round, like a badge. The print-ready file is a CMYK PDF on a flat black background, with the page exactly the gobo's outside diameter, at 600 dpi, or 1200 dpi from vector or very sharp art, ready for the gobo maker.
Can I quote event rentals from a planner's email?
Yes. Paste the planner's email into aiKit's Quote Studio, listing items such as lights, a dance floor and a delivery window, and press Make the quote. Each item is priced only from your own price list and past quotes, with the location and details under each line, and anything not on your list is marked Price needed. Offer good, better and best options with extras the client can tick, and the client accepts on a live page by typing their name.
How do I show sponsors their logos on event merchandise?
Use aiKit's Mockup Studio. Put each sponsor's logo on lanyards, drawstring bags, a retractable banner stand, mugs or shirts, set the decoration method and the exact width, and see every product color side by side. The Checks tab flags a logo that is too detailed or too low in resolution for the method. Build a presentation the sponsor approves product by product from a private link, and download a spec sheet PDF for the order.
Can a client and a rental vendor work in one project without seeing each other's posts?
Yes. In aiKit Hub you can add a client and a vendor to the same project, and each company sees only what's shared with it. Everything starts team-only; switch a to-do list, message, event, doc or file to shared when it should be seen, and press Preview as client to check the view first. The project also holds a Schedule with a calendar feed, Campfire chat and Docs & Files with versions, so the event plan lives in one place.
Can I make numbered raffle tickets for an event?
Yes. aiKit's Prepress Studio sets up raffle tickets with a stub and a perforation line at the printer's exact size. Type what you need, such as numbered tickets with a stub, add your logo, and you get a proof, a print-ready PDF and an FPO file that shows the printer exactly where the numbers print. Send the proof to the event organizer to approve from their phone before it goes to press.
