Voice-over (text to speech)

Text to speech turns a written script into spoken audio read by an AI voice, used for voice-overs on videos, ads and phone messages.

Text to speech, often shortened to TTS, reads written words aloud in a natural-sounding AI voice. A voice-over made this way can narrate a product video, an ad, a training clip, an animation or a phone greeting, without booking a voice actor or a recording session.

It makes changes cheap. When a price or a date changes, you edit the line and read it again instead of re-recording the whole thing. The same script can also be read in several languages. AI voices can mispronounce names and unusual words, so spelling them the way they sound helps.

Imagine a moving company called Steady Hands Movers making a 30-second ad. It writes the script, picks a warm stock voice, fixes the pronunciation of its street name, and drops the finished read under its video with the music dipping beneath it.

In aiKit, Voice Kit offers stock voices or your own AI voice, writes or fits a script to 15, 30, 60 or 90 seconds in your Brand Voice, lets you fix one line and hear only that line again, and downloads MP3 or WAV. Reads use tokens by length, shown before a read starts.
