Website hosting

Website hosting is the service that stores a website's files on internet-connected servers so anyone can visit it at its web address.

Website hosting is where a website lives. The pages, images and code sit on servers that are always online, and when someone types the site's address, the host sends those files to their browser. Hosting also covers the secure https connection, keeping the site running and, ideally, backups.

Hosting is easy to overlook until something goes wrong. A slow or unreliable host means pages that take too long to load or go down, and lost visitors. Many owners also do not want to manage servers, updates and security themselves.

Say a family restaurant called Olive & Ash wants a new site with its menu, hours and a reservation form, but nobody on staff knows anything about servers. Hosting that comes with the site means it goes live without anyone setting up a server.

In aiKit, every site built in Your websites runs on aiKit hosting with a working https address from the moment you press Go live. Every change is saved as a version you can restore in one click, and sites made in another AI tool can be hosted on aiKit too.
