Color look (photo and video filter)

A color look is a preset color treatment, like warm film or cool and moody, applied to a photo or video to give it a consistent style.

A color look is a ready-made set of color and tone adjustments applied in one step. Video editors often call these LUTs or color grades; photo apps call them filters or presets. A look might warm up the highlights, fade the blacks for a film feel, or push everything toward a calm blue.

Using the same look across photos and clips is one of the simplest ways to make a brand's posts feel like they belong together, even when they were shot on different days, phones and lighting.

Picture a cafe called Juniper Street Coffee posting latte photos from a bright morning and a dim evening. Applying the same warm look to both makes the feed look planned, and the clips in its weekly reel match the photos.

In aiKit, Magic Canvas has eight free color looks plus duotone in your brand colors, all run on your device. Pro Designer includes color looks among its Magic effects, and Video Kit adds a color look to a video and can save it in a template for the next one. aiKit does not import LUT files.
