An email template is a ready-made layout for a marketing email: header with logo, hero image, text blocks, product cards, buttons and footer. Each new email reuses the design and only swaps the content. Templates are built in HTML that has to work in many inboxes, on phones and in dark mode.
Good templates make every email look professional without starting from scratch, and keep the brand consistent across welcome emails, promos and newsletters. Hand-coding email HTML is fiddly, because inboxes handle layouts differently from web browsers.
Say a bookshop called Paper Lantern Books sends a monthly new-arrivals email. Starting from the same template, it drops in five new titles, a short note from the owner and an event banner, then checks the phone and dark-mode previews.
In aiKit, Email Studio designs marketing emails by clicking the email itself or by asking, with 23 section types, your real products, phone and dark-mode previews and spam and accessibility checks. You can upload your own HTML email and change only what you name. aiKit never sends marketing email; you export the HTML or save it to your email platform.
